Maa ki bimaari ka sunke, mujhko yesab yaad aaya
3. Haath dhalaki kitabon se, panne gum se ho gaye
padhte padhte hum achanak beech hi mein so gaye
Zindagi ne maut ko publishing rights bech di.
4. Jhooth sach ka farq kitna, jo samajh mein aa gaya
Teri aankhon ki kasam, hum jhankana bhi chhod dein
tab talak mujhko mere kuchh aks dhondhane to do
5. Hothon pe chuppi, kasi rekhayein, mathe pe hain bal
kaam se thak ke hai baitha rozi roti ka mureed
kaise samjhayein ki uska daana-paani uth gaya.
